NEAFCS-MN Professional Development Day Details

It’s time to register for the NEAFCS- MN Professional Development Day!

If you plan to attend, please fill out this brief registration.  We need for lunch and our walking tour, so we are asking you to complete this by JULY 1, 2014 at the latest.  If you live over 50 miles from the Arboretum in Chanhassen, Family Development has agreed to reimburse for employee hotel rooms on the night of July 16th, so we have a block of rooms on hold until JUNE 16th at the AmericInn for a reduced rate.
To register:

3. Reserve a room if needed by June 16th (see below for more details).
To reserve a room:
1. Ask a friend to be a roommate (if you don’t have someone in mind, email Brianna and she will pair you with someone).
2. Have one person call AmericInn (952-934-3888) and reserve a room in the NEAFCS-MN room block.
3. The rate will be $94.99 + tax for a two queen bed room and you will be able to submit this expense on your expense report.
4. Be sure to reserve a room by June 16, 2014 as the room block and room rate cannot be held beyond this date.  The rate after this would be $129.99 + tax- so get it early!
Conference Details:
Who: All current NEAFCS-MN and past members as well as all those interested in seeing what it is all about
What: Fun professional development and networking opportunity!
We will feature our current National President Kathy Olson as well as sessions looking at the 100th Anniversary of the Smith Lever Act, a panel of current and previous Extension Educators, and more! We will also be taking a tour of the Arboretum display garden and networking with old and new friends and colleagues.
When:  Thursday, July 17th, 2014 from 9am to 3pm
(refreshments and networking begin at 8:30am)
Where: The Fireplace Room in the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, 3675 Arboretum Drive, Chaska, MN
Why: Come learn about NEAFCS-MN, your colleagues, and these wonderful celebrations of past, present, and future
Cost: $25 for non members and $20 for members
This covers food, the tour, speakers, and the lovely location!
